Creams to fight fine lines and wrinkles – I don’t know many women who are not bothered by them and aren’t always on the hunt for that miracle cream (or procedure) that will eliminate them once and for all. So the bad news is …I don’t have that cream, because it simply does not exist. The good news, however, is that I have found 3 products that have drastically reduced fine lines /wrinkles (especially one deep line that lived on my forehead for years). I call these “semi- miracle” creams haha. Before we get to the products, this is not a super budget friendly post but they are worth every penny. I believe that we should invest in ourselves – looking and feeling our best. We spend so much of our lives investing in everyone else, and have very little reserves for ourselves, so this is your reminder to give yourself permission to invest in yourself. You are worth it! Now, with that said, lets get to the 3 creams to fight fine lines and wrinkles.
1. Tatcha Dewy Serum

This is a fantastic 3-in-1 serum (made with natural “good for you” ingredients), that resurfaces, plumps and hydrates the skin. When I tell you that this has helped to change the entire look and feel of my skin, please believe me. I initially tried this as a milder alternative to the retinol that I was using, but then quickly made this a regular part of my skincare routine. I use this 3 times a week , as I alternate with the other 2 creams to fight fine lines and wrinkles. I would suggest incorporating this into your routine every other day, especially if you’re new to retinol as it will help your skin but not be as harsh on your skin. Try it Tatcha. (retails for £86)
2. Tatcha Silk Serum (Retinol Alternative)

Okay, now this is a game changer imo. This product is a damn near miracle and has earned its spot amongst the top 3 creams to fight wrinkles. I was so intrigued when it first launched but sceptical at the same time. I thought ‘is it for real or just the marketing machine at it again?”. I was so elated that the marketing lived up to the hype. This is a wrinkle smoothing serum, made with silk, cranberry extract and sea fennel that mimics retinol (the holy grail of anti ageing products). Because it mimics retinol (effectively its meant to be a more natural alternative to retinol), it visibly smooths deep wrinkles without the irritation that retinol causes. Now, does that not sound freakin’ amazing? Get it immediately from Tatcha. (retails for £98)
3 Creams to Fight Wrinkles – Obagi Tretinoin Cream

This is the holy grail in the world of skincare, for good reason. It has earned its no1 spot due to the undeniable results it brings by helping to effectively treat skin issues like acne, hyperpigmentation. acne scarring and wrinkles. Tretinoin is an active form of Vitamin A and one of the most powerful and effective treatments in skincare. It works to stimulate cell division and removes old and damaged cells, thus encouraging new ones. It also stimulates all important Collagen (we need this to have bouncy younger looking skin). Ask your skincare specialist about the possibility of prescribing tretinoin for you if you are interested in treating any of the skin issues mentioned above. Tretinoin retails for about £98.
These 3 will help to treat some of those skin concerns that we all face, especially as we get older. I love that these work to treat the root of the problem and not just superficially. It is definitely worth investing in yourself (I will be doing a few “dupes” /more budget friendly alternatives so keep a look out for those as well). In the meantime I hope you try and love these as much as I do.
Love,
Arita XO
