How I Love Charlotte Tilbury! I think most of us love a good highlighter to accentuate various features and give the skin a healthy glow. What I dont love though are those that leave streaks and blotches of white residue on your skin. (like what’s up with that?) This brings me to to Charlotte Tilbury Wands. The highlighter wand is so creamy and natural looking (a similarity with all 3 wands). The Highlight Blush Wand
The “Pinkgasm” color beauty light wand adds the softest touch of pink to the cheeks to give you a rosy glow. It comes in 4 colours and each of them adds a pretty glow with that pop of color. Its so light and natural that I often wear it without any foundation etc to add subtle color and natural glow. (its fab when used together with the highlighter even if you’re using no other makeup, no contour etc).

I am slightly obsessed with contouring (have been ever since I first heard about it tbh)! But trying to master the art of contour, now that is a whole other story altogether. Its taken me ages to get to the point of not looking crazy, in all honesty haha:) I find that striking the balance between creating dark enough contour lines to make a noticeable difference but light enough to look natural, is the most difficult part (for me anyway).

So, in the interest of full disclosure, I must say that I found out about this product/brand on Insta when an influencer mentioned it. I thought it sounded interesting and worth the try (and investment). This followed with me going online and reading everything I could get on this brand (which is what I do before trying ANY product tbh), before I decided to try it. Colorescience describes this product as “A lightweight mineral sunscreen with tinted color coverage immediately evens skin tone for a flawless look.” And after using it for about 6 months now, I have to agree with their description. The formula is super lightweight, making for the easiest application. It glides on the skin. And its “patented” technology that they speak of, really does its thing. (this may come across like I’m surprised, because I AM lol)
Colorescience patented technology is meant to provide comprehensive defense against UVA/UVB, Blue Light, Pollution, and Infrared radiation, combined with advanced antioxidants and nourishing, hydrating ingredients for long-term skin health. So this works to improve your skin health both, short and longer term. It provides easy, light coverage and it does make me feel like I have both – a bit of coverage for smoother, more even skin tone, but also like my skin is able to breathe through the day (which is important to me as I break out easily).
